BEIJING and Shanghai, September 8, 2026 — Beijing Inno Medicine Co., Ltd. (“Inno Medicine” or the “Company”) today announced the completion of its Series D financing round, raising nearly RMB 800 million. The round was led by Yuanbio Venture Capital, with participation from co-investors including the Beijing Medical and Healthcare Industry Investment Fund, the Beijing Advanced Manufacturing and Intelligent Equipment Industry Investment Fund and its co-manager Cornerstone Capital, Chengtong Science & Technology Innovation Fund Management, Genharmony Capital, Gaorong Ventures, Northern Light Venture Capital, and Zhongqi Capital, alongside follow-on investments from existing shareholders Renhe Capital and Chunjia Capital. The proceeds will be primarily used to advance international multi-center clinical trials for the Company’s core pipeline products, further accelerating their global clinical development and commercialization.
Inno Medicine’s core pipelines have now entered critical stages of clinical development. Leveraging its proprietary Active Targeting Liposome (ATL) delivery technology platform, the Company has achieved significant progress across cardiovascular and central nervous system (CNS) oncology therapeutics:
The Company’s lead pipeline candidate is the world’s first active targeted therapy designed to reverse atherosclerotic plaques. By selectively accumulating in atherosclerotic plaques, it exerts dual anti-inflammatory and cholesterol efflux-promoting effects, facilitating the transport of cholesterol from within plaques into the bloodstream through reverse cholesterol transport. By acting directly on atherosclerotic plaques, it is designed to reduce plaque volume and promote plaque stabilization, with the potential to deliver a new breakthrough in the treatment of cardiovascular disease worldwide. The drug’s Phase 2b international multi-center pivotal registration trial (PURIFY-TIMI 81) has entered the patient enrollment stage, with study centers in China, Australia, and the United States already being activated, and the Canadian study center expected to be activated shortly.
Another glioma-targeted innovative drug candidate developed on the Company’s drug delivery platform is designed to efficiently cross the blood-brain barrier and selectively accumulate in glioma tissue, enabling efficient targeted drug delivery while significantly reducing systemic toxicity. In addition to directly killing tumor cells, the drug can induce immunogenic cell death (ICD), activating the immune system to generate a durable and synergistic anti-tumor response. The drug recently received Fast Track Designation and IND approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adult patients with glioma, including glioblastoma. Previously, the drug received Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) from the FDA in November 2023.
Dr. Qian Ma, Founder, Chairwoman, and CEO of Inno Medicine, stated: “We are deeply grateful to our new investors for their trust and support, as well as to our long-standing shareholders for their continued partnership. The successful completion of this Series D financing reflects strong recognition from the capital markets of Inno Medicine’s R&D capabilities, the clinical value of our core pipelines, and our potential for global growth. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage the high technical barriers of our Active Targeting Liposome delivery platform to accelerate international multi-center clinical development and strive to bring breakthrough therapeutic solutions to patients worldwide as quickly as possible.”
